What To Expect

Come as you are to worship with us at FBC. You will see some people wear suits, some wear jeans or some wearing business casual. It doesn’t matter what you wear, we are just happy that you are with us. Our services are a more traditional worship style of music. Our pastor preaches a Bible-based message with practical application to help you live out your faith in your every day life. There are provided weekly sermon outlines in your bulletin along with weekly slides on the big screens to follow along with the message. We celebrate communion together the first Sunday of every month, but there’s no pressure to participate if you don’t choose to.  Services are usually about an hour in length.

If you have children, we have a team of loving volunteers in our secure nursery and Junior Church areas to help teach Biblical truths to them. We encourage middle school and high school students to join their parents in the main worship service.

When you visit the First Baptist Church in Kittanning you can expect to see an inviting and loving church. We truly are a “family” journeying together. We offer Sunday school classes, Sunday Evening Bible Study, Grief Share classes, American Baptist Women's Group, Men's monthly breakfast fellowship, Bi-weekly Youth ministry, yearly VBS, church mission trips, and many other growth and fellowship opportunities at FBC church. Check our "Announcements" page for more details about these events including times and dates.
